The holidays are just around the corner and we’re feeling festive here at BRIGS. In the spirit of the season, we took a moment to talk about some favorite traditions with Andrew Cameron, our Director of Investment Services. He’s a Boston native who first joined BRIGS as a co-operative education student at Northeastern University and has been with us ever since.
How are you celebrating the holiday season?
My immediate family is local to the Boston area so I will be spending time with them and friends. My birthday is also this time of the year so it’s a full and fun time!
What does an ideal winter weekend look like to you?
I enjoy (re-)learning how to ski and especially afterwards curling up by the fire either reading a good book or playing games with friends.
What’s your favorite movie to watch around the holidays?
Favorite holiday movie is The Holiday with Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. My family does frequently watch Die Hard with Bruce Willis around the holidays too. And yes, it is a Christmas movie!
I enjoy reading fantasy/science fiction novels and am currently working my way through the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. Late start but I’ve recently finished book five.
Astronaut was certainly a top contender. Maybe it will still happen with more adoption of commercial space flights!
Working on resolving a situation or repair that leaves everyone happy.
Morocco and the Marrakech markets are up near the top of the list. Machu Picchu in Peru is a close second though.
