Hi friends,
Today we’d like you to meet Candace Saunders, a Portfolio Manager here at BRIGS. Candace was born and raised in Connecticut, and moved to Boston in 2001 for school. She can’t believe it’s been 21 years, but living in this beautiful city sure has a way of making time fly. Keep reading to learn more about Candace, from her favorite spots in Boston to her exciting springtime plans.
What is your role at BRIGS, and what do you do in that role?
I’m a Portfolio Manager in the condo division. I work with a Board of Trustees at several properties to manage condominium operations.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
It keeps me on my toes. It’s not often that a day goes “as planned” so (while frustrating at times) I’m NEVER bored. Also, I really love solving problems and there’s never a shortage of those!
If you weren’t doing this job, what other job would you ideally want to do?
Something active. I think I’d enjoy being a skydiving tandem instructor. Jumping out of a plane 9-5 can’t be boring, right?
A friend and I signed up for a partner competition at a CrossFit gym in June. It’s mostly for fun, but I’m looking forward to some friendly competition. There are a handful of other pairs from my gym that also entered, so it’ll be a good day with friends.

One of my favorite places in Boston is the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. In October, the Head of The Charles Regatta is another great spot.
