What is your role at BRIGS, and what does your day-to-day look like?
As a senior portfolio manager at BRIGS for the past three years, I begin each day by reviewing all my messages and identifying action items that require my immediate attention. I embrace the challenges and seek resolutions during the early morning hours, setting a productive tone for the day ahead.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding aspect of my job is resolving issues collaboratively with unit owners and engaging in effective problem-solving with the boards I work with.
What’s something you find challenging about your work?
Occasionally, I encounter challenges in day-to-day issues that require timely resolution. However, I feel fortunate to work with a remarkable company alongside other managers who offer unparalleled support, which I have not experienced with any other management firm. Each department, whether it’s the insurance division, maintenance department, or accounting, along with supervisors and upper management, provides the necessary assistance that enables me to achieve my goals.
During my time off, I enjoy playing golf, deep-sea fishing, and traveling. In the winter, I enjoy heading to the warm weather in the Caribbean.
On weekends, I enjoy making plans with my friends, whether visiting the Museum of Fine Arts or sitting around a fire pit and being with my family at the beach.
