What is your role at BRIGS, and what does your day-to-day look like?
I’m an Accountant Assistant, where my day starts early Monday to Friday. I work with vendors and in the project management area, so I have a lot of contact with managers. We communicate well, and I’m always able to help them if they have questions.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
The most rewarding part of my job is seeing how my work contributes to others’ success and satisfaction. We are a team, so I believe it’s super important to help each other.
What’s something you find challenging about your work?
Helping a disgruntled vendor is always a challenge. Some of them don’t understand our process to get them set up and don’t provide all the requested information, then get upset when I request it again.
Working out, running, traveling, reading, and learning a new language—lots of different things!
I would start the day waking up early to have a nice breakfast with my family, then clean the house listening to my favorite music. I like spending time with my family and having friends over, so maybe we would order some food and have dinner together while talking about life.
