What is your role at BRIGS, and what does your day-to-day look like?
I review invoices, update our vendors’ insurance information, and help managers with any question they may have about payables.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
I love to solve problems and help others. Managers and vendors are often in communication with me, so this gives me the chance to make new friends.
What’s something you find challenging about your work?
When someone asks me something I don’t know, I do all that I can to find out the answer and learn about it. It feels so good once I understand it.
I love photography. I learned this after my kids’ first football season.
3 people inspire me: the writer James Clear, my best friend, and my husband. They all have inspired me in both my personal and professional life.
I love all Ken Follet novels and fantasy stories and yes – Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings are some of my favorites. The TV show that I love to watch with my family is The Mandalorian.
I would take my family to a natural area to walk or play, then back home to watch a movie, bake pizza, enjoy some drinks, and play Halo or another video game together.
