2023 Roundup

Hi friends,

As we welcome 2024 and reflect on the challenges and triumphs of 2023, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our valued clients and dedicated staff. Thank you all for the momentous role you’ve played in the continued success of our company.

Despite the  economic uncertainties and global challenges we faced this past year, BRIGS has been fortunate enough to experience growth and learning opportunities, thanks to the unwavering support of our clients and the dedication of our exceptional team. We’re thrilled to report that both our Apartment and Condominium/HOA departments have achieved significant growth over the past twelve months.

One of the most significant challenges we faced in 2023 was navigating the competitive job market to find skilled and passionate team members. While the search for talent remains a hurdle, we are delighted to welcome new additions to our Human Resources, Accounting, Property Management, Project Management, and Client Services teams. In 2024, we aim to intensify our recruitment efforts, and we aspire to build a robust workforce that ensures redundancy in all aspects of our company, guaranteeing the quality of our services.

Throughout 2023, we also focused on developing our company initiatives, and we are proud of the positive feedback that we received across the board. The Project Management division, in particular, oversaw projects totaling $15M, providing professional oversight for our clients and alleviating the workload on our Property Managers. We are committed to the continuous growth and enhancement of this department in the coming year.

Lastly, our centralization of insurance has proven successful, overcoming the challenge of a weekend of bitter cold in February that resulted in over 100 water claims. This experience served as a learning opportunity, allowing us to further develop and strengthen this vital department.

Looking ahead to 2024, we are excited to roll out new initiatives aimed at improving client satisfaction and service consistency. While we’re eager to share more details, we hope you’ll stay tuned as we implement changes throughout the next year. In the meantime, rest assured that we are actively working on innovative ways to enhance our services, including sending out surveys to gather valuable feedback from our clients.

I want to express our deepest gratitude for choosing BRIGS as your management partner. We understand the responsibility that comes with this role and we do not take it lightly.

As we bid farewell to 2023, I extend warm wishes to you, your families, and the communities you reside in. Here’s to a new year filled with success, good health, and prosperity. Thank you for your continued trust in BRIGS, and we look forward to serving you in the years to come.

Until next time,

Scott Wolf, CEO & the BRIGS team
