Meet David Donahue, Director of Project Management

What is your role at BRIGS, and what does your day-to-day look like?

I’m the Director of Project Management. My day-to-day involves:

  • Defining project objectives, goals and deadlines.

  • Planning and organizing work, delegating tasks, managing resources and monitoring project progress.

  • Understanding the needs and objectives of the project, taking an overall view, and maintaining the coherence of the project.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job? Finishing a project that was successfully managed from beginning to end.

What’s something you find challenging about your work? One of the most common challenges in project management is identifying project goals. When goals are not clearly identified, the whole project and team can suffer.

What are some hobbies you enjoy? Fly fishing & outdoor grilling on my Weber Grill, Blackstone, or Pizza oven.

Tell us about your ideal weekend plan.

Spending quality time with the family at the Cape house.

What is your favorite movie? The “original” Count of Monte Cristo.

Favorite Thanksgiving side. Go! Not a side, but the day after sandwich.

Pumpkin spice everything. Love or hate? Hate.

Any favorite spots to go leaf peeping? Mt Washington Hotel, NH. The view is amazing!
