Meet the Team: Joe Chiccarelli, Portfolio Manager

What’s something you find challenging about your work?   Every work order we receive from a resident is unique and often requires creative problem solving. I love that I can say I learn new things each and every day working at BRIGS.

Tell us about your ideal weekend plan.  A weekend getaway at the beach or lake.

Coffee or tea? Cold Brew Ice Coffee 365 days a year please! I must give an honorable mention to the Dunkin’s Iced Matcha Latte, that drink is incredible!

What are you most looking forward to for spring?  I look forward to the warmer weather and longer days. Everything turns more vibrant and greener in the spring!

What is your role at BRIGS, and what does your day-to-day look like? I manage multiple residential properties in northern part of Massachusetts and the southern part of New Hampshire. I work directly with Trustees, homeowners, and vendors. Each day is unique, but an average day often involves paying bills, fulfilling work orders, and organizing Board meetings.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job? I love problem solving. As a portfolio manager, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is fostering positive relationships with residents and ensuring their satisfaction. Additionally, working with Boards to establish long term goals and then working towards achieving those goals is incredibly satisfying.

What are some hobbies you enjoy? Kayaking, paddleboarding, traveling, hiking and motorcycles.
