Meet the Team: Talia González López, Client Services
What is your role at BRIGS, and what does your day-to-day look like? I am a client service, virtual assistant.
What’s the most rewarding part of your job? Helping people! Any time I read an email or get a call, I think that person could be my mom, dad, or any other relative, so I try to make the call easy and clear—the same way I would hope other people would assist my family.
What’s something you find challenging about your work? When people are in a hurry and do not share enough details, I have to ask them to clarify. Sometimes they feel anxious and want to skip me to speak directly to the property manager, but I just need to verify their information to see if I can help at that moment.
What are some hobbies you enjoy? Meditation, watching movies, going to the gym, visiting my parents and siblings, and thinking of ways to help other people and animals.
Coffee or tea? Coffeeeeeee.
What is your favorite summer memory? During the pandemic, all my family members were healthy so we made the most of time together. We used to cook pizzas with chorizo and jalapeños for dinner and make popcorn spending the afternoons watching movies.
Any summer travel plans? Not this summer! However, I would like to visit Huatulco because I’ve never been there. I would love to drink a cold beer, enjoy the beach, eat shrimp for lunch and eat mangoes with chili powder, sit by the fire for a nice, romantic night. I would definitely travel by airplane so I wouldn’t get tired of driving.
Beach or pool? Beach.
